The Gathering Board w/Lena Oberstadt

Lena Oberstadt, owner of Gathering Board, LLC in Berlin, Connecticut, joined the We Do Wedding Podcast to tell us about her journey from hospital work to creating works of art with her charcuterie boards, grazing tables, and boxes.

Our conversation ranged from the art of food display, the challenges of creating large custom grazing tables for weddings under time constraints, and the serious importance of food safety (note: make sure all your food-related vendors are up-to-date on their training!)

One of the sweetest things about this conversation was Lena's commitment to gathering (hence, her company's name), and making sure everyone has a place at the table--that no one feels left out. It's one of the driving forces of her business, and it's why she puts so much fun variety into her spreads. She wants to make sure there's something there for everyone.
